A LITTLE ABOUT US
Alive in the Park 2023 will once again take place at Riverbank Park in Yass, NSW. With a backdrop of sweet summer air and towering trees framing the Yass River, what more could you ask? Not only will the festival include 10 hours of incredible, lively music, but also a variety of food trucks, craft beer and drinks by Kombi Keg, market stalls and an incredible atmosphere. During the day is the time to get groovy to Will Kepa, The Burley Griffin and Hope Wilkins, before the music ramps up in the afternoon with SmartCasual, Muesli, Jack Biilmann and the Black Tide...but it's only just begun! Get your rock on with Citizen Kay and Redhook, framed by the sunset. We can't wait to see you there!

FAQS
ARE THERE OTHER ACTIVITIES TO DO DURING THE DAY?
Alive in the Park 2023 is more than incredible live music! There will be a range of lovely local market stalls, and Southern Tablelands Arts are curating a creative tent with free workshops all day and into the twilight! We also have cosy picnic areas and incredible interactive play spaces if you're in the mood to chill out and enjoy the beautiful day.
WILL THERE BE FOOD AND DRINKS?
Alive in the Park 2023 is here for a good time, and a long time. We know that appreciating incredible music can be difficult with an empty stomach, so we are hosting a number of savoury food vans, craft beer served by Kombi Keg, a coffee van, ice cream truck and a community BBQ!
IS THERE PRIORITY ACCESS PARKING/SEATING AVAILABLE?
Yes of course! We will have a designated parking area with wheelchair access, as well as a seating area close to the stage. Please email us at aliveinthepark@gmail.com for further enquiries about this
IS ALIVE IN THE PARK PET FRIENDLY?
Yes! Our only request is that any pets are kept on a leash and please clean up after them.
CAN I BYO?
You may BYO picnic (no glass) but NO alcohol. Kombi Keg will be selling Capital Brewing craft beer and other beverages. PLEASE BRING ID - everyone purchasing and consuming alcohol will require an 18+ wristband, available at the Info Tent.
IS THERE AN ATM?
Unfortunately there is no ATM in Riverbank Park, however the nearest ATMs are a short walk away, on Comur St. Most stalls and food vans will accept card!
WHAT CAN I BRING INTO THE FESTIVAL?
Picnic rugs, camp chairs and beanbags are all more than welcome, however we do request that there are no marquees, cabana's etc that could obscure others view of the action! Feel free to bring snacks and non-alcoholic drinks but please do not bring glass.
WHERE DO I PARK?
Luckily Yass is a small town, and Riverbank Park is just a short scenic walk from plenty of parking nearby. There is parking available at the Yass Pool, Victoria Park or off Church Street on the other side of the park. There will be accessible carparks reserved under the bridge near food vans (look for signage).
IS THE FESTIVAL A SAFE SPACE?
100% EVERYONE is welcome at Alive in the Park and we work to ensure the festival is fun for each and every person. If you need anything - find our CREW in their bright t-shirts, drop by the Info Tent, head to the First Aid tent or have a chat to event security.
IS THERE TRANSPORT TO/FROM THE FESTIVAL?
Yes! Yass Valley Council is running a free bus service from surrounding villages into Yass on Sunday, 12 March. If you live in Murrumbateman, Sutton, Gundaroo, Bowning or Binalong, head to the Council's website here to book your spot on the free bus!
WHO FUNDS THE FESTIVAL?
This festival is run on volunteer power! For 2023 we have secured funding from Yass Valley Council and that is how we support music and the arts, our community and can keep this festival FREE!
